Privacy Policy

Phantos is built to run your show locally. That design is also its privacy policy: your shows, fixtures, media, and control data live on your machines and are not sent to us.

What the software sends

• Licence verification: nothing. Keys verify offline, on your machine. The software does not phone home to run.
• Update check: the launcher may check our releases page for a newer version — a standard web request, at most daily, carrying no personal data. It fails silently offline; a venue with no internet loses nothing.
• Beta builds only: closed-beta builds may collect crash and diagnostic reports under the beta agreement testers sign. Retail builds do not.

What this website collects

phantos.io is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or trackers, and has no accounts. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, whose servers keep standard access logs.

Email and purchases

If you email us, we use your address to reply and to administer your licence — nothing else. We do not sell or share customer information. Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, which handles payment details under its own policy; we never see your card number.
